- Will be offered with AT and MT options
- Expected to be offered on top-spec trims
The Honda Elevate will get a special edition soon in the form a dark edition and it's been spotted sans camouflage for the first time. As the name suggests, it's been given a full-black paint job with dark edition badging at the left rear. There are no photos of the cabin, but going by how it's normally done, it will be an all-black affair inside. We expect this special edition to be concentrated at the top end and thus will get all the bells and whistles like climate control, connected car technology, and level-2 ADAS.
The Elevate only gets one engine option: Honda’s 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol producing 114bhp and 145Nm. This engine can be had with either a six-speed MT or a CVT. This is Honda's second special edition for the Elevate. It's expected to be offered with a price premium and will take on rivals like the Kia Seltos X-Line, Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo, Volkswagen Taigun GT-Line and the MG Astor Black Storm.
Honda is not participating in the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo but could announce car details around the same time to ride the wave. The Mobility Show media day will take place on 17 January.
