Honda Cars India has launched the Elevate Black Edition in the country, with prices starting at Rs. 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition of the mid-size SUV is available in two versions – Black Edition and Signature Black Edition.
Featuring a new Crystal Black paint, the Elevate Black Edition gets blacked-out alloy wheels and nuts, chrome accents for the grille, and silver finish for the skid plates, lower door garnish, and roof rails. Similarly, the new Honda Elevate Signature Black Edition version gets all the aforementioned elements in a black finish. Additionally, the Black and Signature Black edition versions feature a ‘Black Edition’ emblem on the tailgate and a ‘Signature Edition’ emblem on the front fender, respectively.
The Elevate Black Edition range gets a similar treatment on the inside too, with parts such as the dashboard, leatherette seats and stitching, door pads, armrest, finished in black. The only stand out feature between the two is the seven-colour ambient lighting offered with the Signature Black Edition version.
Based on the top-spec ZX variants, the new Elevate offerings boast all the features offered with the standard versions. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.5-litre iVTEC petrol engine paired with manual and CVT transmissions. Bookings of the new Elevate Black Edition are now open, with deliveries of the CVT and manual versions set to begin in January and February, respectively.
