- Two editions on offer
- No changes to the powertrain
Honda recently launched the Elevate Black Edition and Signature Black Edition priced at Rs. 15.51 lakh and Rs. 15.71 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Here's all you need to know about these special editions.
Exterior
The Black Edition gets a Crystal Black Pearl exterior with gloss black alloy wheels. It features a chrome grille garnish and silver inserts on the roof rails to break the black monotony. It also gets a special 'Black Edition' emblem at the back. On the other hand, the Signature Black Edition sports an all-black front grille, front and rear skid plates with a black finish, black roof rails, and special 'Signature Edition' badges on the front fenders.
Interior
Both the special editions have an all-black interior. These versions are based on the top-spec ZX variant of the standard Elevate and feature black leatherette seats with black stitching. They also get an all-black dashboard, black door pads, and armrests wrapped in PVC. Additionally, the Signature Black Edition comes equipped with rhythmic seven-colour ambient lighting.
Powertrain
The Honda Elevate Black and Signature Black Edition employ the same 1.5-litre petrol engine that powers the regular SUV. This four-cylinder unit produces 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. It comes mated to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed CVT.
