A facelifted version of the Honda CR-V SUV has been spotted in China ahead of its official debut and launch at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show which will begin on April 22. It follows the design of the European model which was unveiled last year.
The Chinese market is one that enjoys heavy amount of chrome on its vehicles and this CR-V seems to have been styled in that manner. There are chrome embellishments for the grille, fog lamps, head lamps as well as the hatch door at the rear. The front bumper has been modified to become a tad bit sportier than the current car.
If the China-spec car is mimicking the European spec vehicle, then we know for certain that the interior design too has moved in that direction and we expect to see the same interior in the model for the People’s Republic. There are expected to be no changes to the engine lineup as well as the underpinning from the current car.
India too will get the European spec CR-V but is only expected to be launched here once the Jazz hatchback has been introduced in the Indian market.
