Japanese auto giant Honda has announced a range of concepts and production cars that it will present at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. While we have already seen and read about the production version of the FCV fuel cell vehicle, the brand will also showcase a few other models for the Japanese market.
First of these models will be the latest-generation model of the Civic Type-R. Following a strong demand in Europe, the new Civic Type R will make its Japanese debut at the show and sales will commence later this year.
Besides the high-performance hatch, Honda will also be displaying the new S660 open-top mini sports car. The quirky-looking S660, which is sold exclusively in Japan, has been designed to deliver the thrills of a fully-fledged sports car in a compact and efficient package.
Looking at their recent past, Honda has had a pretty good year for new products in several global markets. The brand is now working on launching the highly anticipated 2016 NSX featuring a 550bhp hybrid powertrain with three electric motors and a V6 petrol engine.
