Honda Car India, the Indian arm of the global major Honda, has dispatched 13,006 units of its cars in the month of November 2018 along with the export of 543 units. Compared to the sales of November 2017, when Honda sold 11,819 units, the sales are about 10 per cent higher year on year.
In terms of year-to-date sales starting from April, Honda dispatched 1,21,658 units in 2018 as compared to the 1,17,322 units in 2018, thus marking a growth of over 3.5 per cent. Honda sales had gained momentum after the introduction of the all-new Amaze earlier this year, the car which almost managed to push Honda sales beyond the 20,000 units mark in the month of July.
After the late monsoon dip, the sales were expected to rise back but with a slow-moving market, they have remained rather steady as Honda sold 14,187 units in October 2018 and 14,866 units in September 2018.
