Honda has showcased the C 001 concept at an auto show in China. It’s a preview a new sedan design for the Chinese market and has a lot of new design cues from the Japanese automaker.
Pictures reveal a long bonnet, stubby boot with fast back lines, slit-like LED head lamps and uniquely C-shaped tail lamps that sit like slivers on the edges of the car. There is no grille and this is a possible indication that this may be an electric car, but since this is a concept, it is too early to predict. Also visible are aerodynamic spats covering the wheels.
Where we find relevance in this model is that it is an indicator for the design cues of the future Honda City sedan. Probable bits that we could read into would be the roofline, tail lamps and the face to a large extent. Â
