The Honda Brio’s pricing starts at Rs 3.95lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base model EMT that offers electric power steering, front power windows, AC and centrally locking. It is available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 88bhp and at this price it competes with the likes of the Chevrolet Beat and the Hyundai i10.
Hyundai i10:
Last year, Hyundai had given the i10 a facelift and even tweaked its engines for better mileage and performance. The facelift version even got many more features like steering mounted audio, USB, Aux-in etc. The Hyundai i10 is a great value for money product and has been doing well in the market even in numbers. But now, the Brio with its 1.2-litre engine and Honda badge seems to give the i10 a run for its every penny and worth all the moolah you spend on the car.
Chevrolet Beat:
Chevrolet Beat is one good product on offering with GM’s 3-year no expenses warranty plan being the icing. The Beat is funky and stylish and has a 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns close to 80bhp. The Honda Brio is also very jazzy, but it has a more powerful motor and more space at the rear. The Brio even has the Honda badge which makes it a better option to procure.
