Honda has introduced Digipad and rear parking camera and sensors in the BR-V. From now on, these two new features will be standard in the VX trim of the SUV.
Honda's new Digipad is a 17.7cm touchscreen audio video navigation (AVN) system. This AVN unit supports built-in satellite-linked 3D navigation apart from the conventional music system commands. Additionally, it gets mirror link support for smartphone connectivity. Furthermore, owners can get internet access for browsing, email and live traffic through an optional Wifi receiver. This system was earlier available only in the top-end grades of the City and other siblings. Now it has made it to the BR-V as well.
Jnaneswar Sen, senior vice president, marketing and sales, Honda Cars India Ltd said, "We are delighted to introduce the enriched version of the BR-V for our customers in this festive season. The BR-V with Digipad, and other new features, adds to the model’s versatility and we are confident that this “Be Ready Vehicle” will complement the varied lifestyles of our customers."
Apart from the updated VX trim of the BR-V, Honda confirmed that the S variant will also get parking sensors, but not the rear view camera. Potential buyers now have more reasons to buy the BR-V thanks to these new features that have now become more of a necessity.
The ex-showroom Delhi prices of the upgraded VX variants of the BR-V are as mentioned below-
1.5L VX MT Petrol - Rs 12,27,169
1.5L VX MT Diesel - Rs 13,22,512
