After Honda’s ‘baby NSX’ patent images first emerged two years ago, new ones are now out. These patent images are better than the earlier ones since they reveal the car’s interior layout too. In the absence of the removable roof, this two-seater baby NSX shows off the F1-like steering wheel - a sign that the car still in the concept stage.
On 26 June, the European Union Intellectual Property Office released the images that you see here, but there was no clear indication of what car it actually is. The other possibility is that this could turn out to be the ZSX, since Honda registered the ZSX name a year ago at the same office. Sources further speculate that there is some sort of connection between the ZSX and the NSX which is yet to be confirmed.
A few months ago, a mysterious Honda sports car was spotted (shown below), and it undoubtedly fits the description of the vehicle we see in the latest patent images. Although it doesn’t match in every aspect, we need to understand that a concept car constantly undergoes changes through various stages before it finally gets debuted. As things stand today, there’s no saying when this sports car will make it to the market. But you could stay glued to CarWale to know more about Honda’s plans for this car in the time to come!
