Honda Cars India has announced that it will hike the price of the Brio and the City sedan from January 2013 in the range of 0.8 per cent to 1.65 per cent. The Japanese automaker has attributed the hike to increase in input costs and inflation.
This is Honda’s second price hike of the year. It joins a host of manufacturers like Toyota, Nissan, Maruti Suzuki and Audi who have all been facing the heat of the global economic slowdown and have hiked their prices for similar reasons.
