Honda’s popular compact sedan, the Amaze now gets a CVT option in the top spec VX variant, in both petrol and diesel guise. Earlier, the CVT option was limited only to the S and the V variant. Honda Amaze VX petrol automatic is priced at Rs 8,56,900 while the Amaze VX diesel CVT is priced at Rs 9,56,900 (both ex-showroom, all-India).
Ahead of mandatory safety regulation that will be implemented from 1 July, Honda has updated the Amaze with new safety features like front passenger seat belt reminder and high-speed alarm in addition to the existing features like rear parking sensors, ABS, dual airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorage and impact sensing door unlock.
Moreover, the Amaze VX CVT additional features over the V CVT variant with 17.7cm advanced infotainment system with capacitive touchscreen, in-built satellite-linked turn by turn navigation, seamless smartphone connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, the VX variant gets the USB-in port, steering mounted voice control switches, rear camera with guidelines and driver side window one touch up with pinch guard.
