- Gets changes inside out
- Also boasts ADAS
Honda recently launched the new-generation Amaze in India at a starting price of Rs. 7.99 lakh. Let's take a look at the top five highlights of the petrol-only sedan that gets a new look, refreshed cabin, new features, and technology.
1. Bigger
The car's width has increased by 38mm than before for a more progressive and wide stance. As a result, it has improved shoulder room inside though other dimensions haven't changed. Besides, the ground clearance has also gone up from 170mm to 172mm. Moreover, the car gets a 416-litre boot space still making it the compact sedan with the highest cargo volume in its segment.
2. Safer
The carmaker has used 46 per cent high tensile steel in the production of this car and a high rigidity structure makes it safer. The carmaker says they have engineered it to conquer tougher tests and have done internal tests as well. This will ensure better adult occupants, child occupants, and pedestrian protection in case of a crash.
3. Most affordable car with ADAS
Apart from the various safety assist technologies, Honda has equipped the 2024 Amaze with ADAS. This makes it not only the first-in-segment to have it but also the most affordable passenger car in India to have this automated safety technology.
4. Honda Connect
The brand's Honda Connect app has been upgraded with 37 features for the Amaze and is compatible with Alexa and smartwatch connectivity. Notably, it is the industry's first to offer a five-year free subscription.
5. Warranty plans
Honda plans to impress buyers by offering attractive warranty plans. Apart from the three-year unlimited km standard warranty, customers can opt for a seven-year unlimited km extended warranty. What's more, there's an anytime warranty for ten years and 1,20,000km adding to the delight.
