A new limited edition of the Honda Amaze has been launched in India and comes with additional features. This Amaze Privilege Edition is priced at Rs 6,48,888 for the petrol variant and Rs 7,73,631 for the diesel trim (both prices ex-showroom New Delhi).
The special edition is based on the S (O) version of the standard Amaze sedan. While the engine options remain the same, Honda has brought in some cosmetic changes and new features to differentiate it from the regular car. The exterior boasts of new decals and a 'Privilege Edition' emblem at the rear. The interior retains the same design and layout, but comes with a Privilege Edition-themed beige coloured seat covers. A new driver’s arm rest has been added as a part of this package.
Prospective buyers will also benefit from a Digipad, which is a new 17.7cm infotainment system with audio, video and navigation support. It remains to be the highlight as it features built-in satellite linked 3D Navigation, internal memory of 1.5GB and mirror link support with smartphone compatibility. Furthermore, it can also provide internet access through a Wi-Fi receiver. The latter, however, will have to be purchased as an add-on. It should be noted that this system does not come paired to a rear-view camera but gets parking sensors as a standard.
This new Honda Amaze ‘Privilege Edition’ has been introduced to offer buyers some advanced features with assertive styling. Since it is based on the S (O) grade, it will continue to get features like dual Airbags, ABS (in diesel trim), electrically-adjustable ORVMs, steering-mounted controls, driver seat height-adjuster, digital AC controls, amongst other features as standard. The Privilege edition costs Rs 10,000 over the standard S (O) MT grade and provides some exclusivity to the prospective buyers.
