Back in May, Honda had introduced the new-generation Amaze in India at an introductory price of Rs 5.60 lakhs. This time around, the company has revised the prices of the Amaze. The entry-level E variant in petrol and diesel are now expensive by Rs 20,600, while the rest of the variants are dearer by Rs 10,600 over the older ex-showroom, Mumbai prices.
The Honda Amaze is available in petrol and diesel engine options in the country. The petrol version is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder unit that generates 87bhp of power and 109Nm of torque. It comes mated to a five-speed manual and a CVT option. Interestingly, for the first time, the Amaze gets a CVT option in the diesel variant. The 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine generates 100bhp of power and 200Nm of torque in the manual variants and 80bhp of power and 160Nm of torque in the CVT variant.
