-Fifth generation Honda City
-Petrol and diesel power
-Possible launch next year
The fifth generation Honda City has been spotted on test in India. It will be a new generation for the Japanese automaker’s successful sedan and these images reveal some of the new design elements for the car.
Despite the heavy camouflage, we can see that the City will retain its familiar shape but is expected to get a new face and rear end along the lines of what we see on the Civic. In the photos, we can also see a new design for the alloy wheels as a part of the package.
Honda is expected to offer this new City with both petrol and diesel engine options with a possible AT option for the latter as this system already exists for the Amaze compact sedan.
The Honda City takes on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid and Nissan Sunny. We can expect to see this car sometime next year.  Â
