Goodyear announced the launch of the 'Fast Aid' program for Indian consumers. 'Fast Aid' is first of its kind Road Breakdown Assistance program introduced by a tyre company in the country.
With the aim to provide its customers, safe and smooth driving, Goodyear India launched this initiative in collaboration with RACE – the car breakdown repair service.
On the launch of the program, Mr. Rajeev Anand, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Goodyear India commented, "We, at Goodyear, not only offer our customers the best quality and latest safety technology, but through this program shows that we care for their safety beyond tires. For the first time in India, Fast Aid provides Goodyear customers with emergency car services, in association with RACE and we hope it proves to be the best initiative."
On the purchase of two or more of Goodyear tires, the brand will provide a free annual RACE membership to its customers, entitling them to 3 emergency services. Whether the car is stranded on the outskirts of Delhi (NCR), or whether it breaks down in the middle of the peak hours, Goodyear assures that assistance will be provided for the customer. The subscription starts with the customer registering after the purchase of tires.
The program has started as a pilot in Delhi NCR region for the time being and will cover various cities on the basis of its success.
