It seems that the CEO of General Motors has taken shine to her company’s flagship sports car and has ordered herself a special version of the high performance coupe. A photo from the website Corvette Blogger seems to suggest that Mary Barra has ordered herself a black Corvette ZO6 with a convertible roof.
Mary’s car appears to be the standard convertible Z06 but trimmed out in black. The engine sitting in this monster is the 6.2-litre big block V8 churning out 648bhp and 861Nm of torque and has been mated to the eight-speed AT sending power to the rear wheels. The report also suggests that the car has been fitted with a stage-1 aero package. We believe that since this car has been ordered specially, it is likely to have a certain level of personalisation normally not offered with the car.
It’s amazing when a CEO of an automaker not just rides in the company’s vehicles but also believes in their driving philosophy and buys the best of what is there to offer in the range.
