General Motors has unveiled upgraded versions of its utility vehicle, the Tavera as well as of its luxury SUV, the Captiva.
The Tavera called Neo 3, gets minimal styling tweaks but according to GM, it now has an improved engine under its hood which is supposed to be more efficient as well.
The Captiva meanwhile looks more muscular now and more up to date as well. It also comes with a larger, more powerful 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Both the Tavera and the new Captiva will be launched in 2012.
The General Motors India stall is also divided into three zones. The first is the technology and innovation zone. The zone was all about green cars; cars that define the future of mobility in GM's opinion.
The second zone is the performance and design zone. This is where enthusiasts interest lies. There is the Camero as well as the Corvette onn display. And of course the awesome looking Stingray concept.
The final section is the Chevrolet Next section. It has two cars that will be launched this year, the new Tavera and the new Captiva along with two vans from its Chinese partner which will be unveiled tomorrow.
