The Chevrolet Beat LPG is here and the long wait for the green carfrom the GM stable is finally over. The car will be available in two versions- the LS and LT will be priced at 4.10 lakh and 4.53 lakh respectively (both Ex-showroom Thane) The LT variant is the top-end variant and the car boasts of a 26.2 litre LPG fuel tank capacity.
The locally designed and developed 1.2- litre SMARTECH engine will make its way under the hood of the car. The engine generates 80PS of power and a torque of 103.8Nm@4400 rpm. The LPG kit too is compact and does not compromise on the space inside the car. GM has noted that the engine performance is such that it will give a mileage of 13.29 km/l when in the LPG mode. The car will be available in the floowing colours; Cocktail Green, Linen Beige, Super Red, Misty Lake, Caviar Black, Moroccan Blue, Olympic White and Sandrift Grey.
