General Motors India in association with Bangalore Traffic Police launched its ‘Chevrolet Safety Drive’ initiative to promote road safety and safe driving in garden city of Bengaluru. The initiative aims to spread awareness about traffic rules, driving habits and safety features in vehicles that can make a difference in preventing accidents on roads.
As part of the initiative, the ‘Chevrolet Safety Drive’ had set up safety stalls at the popular ITPB mall in Whitefield Main Road, Bengaluru to educate the public about various aspects of safety. Chevrolet used various quizzes and AV presentations to educate publics about road safety and share information about the importance of safety in vehicle structure. Chevrolet highlighted the use of these features in all its vehicles including the Chevrolet Beat, which was also on display. Dr. M.A. Saleem, Additional Commissioner of Police, Bangalore signed off the pledge at the stall which was followed by the Bangalore Traffic Police imparting knowledge on traffic laws and rules.
