Kia Motors has revealed the Niro Hybrid and the Niro Plug-in Hybrid at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2019. The vehicle can be had in two colour packs – Red-orange accents and a plum pack. Both the variants are powered by a 1.6-litre direct-injected naturally-aspirated petrol engine which is paired with a 1.65kWh lithium-ion battery (Hybrid) or 8.9kWh pack (Plug-in Hybrid).
Fresh design changes come in the form of new bumpers and a new quad-LED 'ice cube' daytime-running light design. The vehicles get new double-arrow LED lights on the front bumper and optional full-LED headlights. The plug-in hybrid version gets 16-inch design while the hybrid version can be had with 18-inch diamond cut alloys. The taillights are revised for freshness and gets silver-skid plate treatment with new reflectors and fog lights.
As for the interior, the Niro models get seven-inch driver instrument display, optional 10.25-inch widescreen central display with UVO Connect online apps and new soft-touch dash top. The standard feature list includes an 8.0-inch central touchscreen and a 4.2-inch TFT instrument binnacle.
