The 87th Geneva Motor Show opens its doors on March 7. And Mercedes-Benz is bringing no less than 34 cars (three less compared to last year) to the stage of one of the most prestigious auto shows across the globe.
The highlight of the show for the German manufacturer will be the debut of new generation E-Class Cabriolet which completes the E-Class family. The new-generation E-Class was unveiled last year, which was followed by the Estate and All-Terrain. The E-Class coupe joined in early this year at the Detroit Motor Show. We have exclusive spy shots of the E-Cabriolet and you can have a look at it here.
Gracing the stage with its presence will be the opulent Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet, which was revealed just a few days back. The India-bound updated GLA-Class will also make its European debut. Other cars showcasing their flair will include special editions of the Mercedes-Benz SL and the SLC. Also making its second appearance after Paris Motor Show will be the X-Class Concept; along with the Mercedes-Benz Vans. The Smart, on the other hand, will showcase two special models namely fortwo cabrio Brabus edition 2 and forfour crosstown edition.
From the Mercedes-AMG, we can see the ‘Edition 50’ vehicles in all their glory. Apart from the new additions to the Edition 50 celebrations which include AMG GT C Roadster Edition 50, C63 S Cabriolet Ocean Blue Edition and C43 Coupe Night Edition; there will be E63 S Estate making its world premiere at the Geneva.
Mercedes-Benz’s electric sub-brand will have an "EQ Lane". It will flow through the entire stand in the form of a black, shining trail, equipped with lights and media technology showcasing the new product brand which is entirely focused on electric mobility. The Concept EQ and EV vehicle range will be showcased as well. The visitors can also witness a unique ‘Silver Flow’ atmosphere at the Mercedes-Benz stand, which is a structural sculpture floating above the show stand, along with VR experience of EQ and connected mobility.
