Dacia has taken the wraps off the new Duster today at the Frankfurt Auto Show 2017. The popular crossover, sold by Renault here in India, has been updated for 2018 with new safety features, styling and revised interiors.
In terms of design changes, the front and rear ends are completely different. The front, for instance, appears wider, thanks to the new headlights merging into the all-new grille. Meanwhile, new roof bars and prominent front and rear skid plates are among other highlights. Inside, the dashboard has been redesigned totally with better ergonomics and a more contemporary design. The infotainment display has been moved to the upper part of the dashboard.
The seats have also been revised for better comfort and support while new stowage spaces have increased the car’s total stowage capacity to 28.6 litres. The Duster gets plenty of new safety technologies including multi-view camera, blind spot warning system, curtain airbags and automatic headlights.
The new Duster will go on sale in the UK in mid-2018. It will arrive in India with a few revisions made later on in its lifecycle.
