Mercedes-Benz might be on a quest to cater to newer buyers and make its cars younger. However, it has not forgotten those who can pay the big bucks for the big wheels. It recently refreshed the S-Class sedan and has now added the fun versions to the line-up in the form of the S-Class coupe and cabriolet.
Both cars get the same updates as their four-door sibling and this list includes the new head lamps, grille, enhanced voice recognition. It even gets something called Energizing Comfort Control which from what we can under is like individual user memory settings for the entire car. On the driving front, there is a whole bunch of new autonomous driving technology and wireless smart charging. The coupe as well as the cabriolet has all the bits of the S-Class but now with the German automaker’s Panamericana grille which is found on the AMG GT range.
The coupe will obviously be the more powerful of the range as it can be had in various AMG states of tune while the cabriolet is a bit more sane and is expected to be offered only in the S500 guise. We believe that both cars will come to India through the CBU route a few months after this facelift S-Class is brought here. Â
