Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its EQA concept at Frankfurt 2017. It’s a new budget electric hatchback from the German automaker and points to a direction which they will take to undergo an intense electrification process in their lineup.
The car gets a low slung, clean design with a forward sloping silhouette almost giving them impression of a mini shooting brake. There is the distinctive avant-garde style grille which changes colour as per the driving mode and a blue hue all around creating aura around the vehicle.
It gets two electric motors which have a combined output of 268bhp/500Nm of torque and has a range of 400km. its gets the option for inductive charging and on a fast charge of 10 minutes can give you a range of 100km.
It is an exciting time to be an electric car enthusiast and that too with Mercedes-Benz creating such concepts. The EQ concept is expected to reach production sometime in the next five years.Â
