Looking to make an even bigger impression among European buyers, Korean auto giant Kia has presented a whole new range of concept and production models at the Frankfurt Motor Show. One such production model is the Stonic compact crossover.
Making its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Stonic is a crucial model for Kia since it will compete in the highly challenging compact crossover segment in Europe. Upfront, the Stonic is immediately recognisable as a Kia thanks to its signature ‘tiger-nose’ grille. The roof has a two-tone paint finish, and the car is available in up to 20 two-tone colour combinations, with a choice of five colours for the roof. The cabin, too, offers potential for customisation with a range of colour packs for customers to choose from.
The Stonic is powered by a range of lightweight petrol and diesel engines, each paired with a manual gearbox, maximising driver engagement and efficiency. Kia has made it official that the new Stonic will go on sale across Europe later this year. It will compete against the likes of the Nissan Juke and Suzuki S-Cross.
