In a bid to improve car ownership experience, Honda recently introduced a new customer service section on their official website. It provides detailed service related information to customers. Here are four of the most important things that you need to know while using this online service.
1. Online service booking and express service
Honda car owners can book a service appointment through the new section on their website. One can also opt for the brand's quick service, which is designed to provide quick and efficient servicing needs. Honda claims to complete these periodic maintenance jobs in three hours.
2. Estimated maintenance costs
One can now also find out their car’s total periodic maintenance service costs online. These are calculated based on the information you provide about your vehicle. However, it should be noted that this is a tentative amount and the actual cost will be shared by the dealership. The dealer will first assess your vehicle. Then, depending on the repairs carried out, the actual service cost might vary a little. The variations are mainly due to any additional items included during the service.
3. Spare parts and services
Honda has also listed the price of various spare parts, lubricants and genuine accessories on their website. These prices are at MRP, but taxes on labour will be charged extra. Nonetheless, all these parts bought from Honda dealerships will come with a six month warranty.
4. Applicable for all models and variants?
The new customer service section currently doesn't provide data for the WR-V, CR-V and Accord models. Also, the available information is only applicable for manual transmission variants. Quotations for the CVT and automatic trims have to be taken from the dealerships.
