The Honda NSX,owned by late Formula One World Champion, Ayrton Senna, will be sold at an auction. The bid will happen on February 22 and 23 at Silverstone Auctions’ Race Retro & Classic Car Sale.
The original owner of this 1992 Honda NSX was Antonio Carlos de Almeida Braga who was a close friend, manager and a mentor to Senna. The well maintained car was at Braga’s garage for two years after Senna’s demise in 1994. It was sold to a buyer after which the current owner purchased the car from him 17 years ago.
The Honda NSX is a black coloured vehicle as seen in the pictures. It has a black leather interior and a manual gearbox. The vehicle has done a 31,800 mile run on the odometer. The car will go on sale through a bid scheduled for next month with buyers bidding for a price range between £75,000 to £85,000 (Rs 78.46lakh to Rs 88.92 lakh).
Nick Whale, Managing Director, Silverstone Auctions, said, “Very rarely does a car with such pedigree and provenance come to market, especially with such a powerful and personal link to arguably the greatest F1 driver of all time, and as such, we’re incredibly excited to offer it for auction.”
