The festive season did not live up to the expectations with almost the entire automotive market undergoing a downturn. Naturally, Ford also took a hit in its monthly sales as the company dispatched 6,375 units to its dealerships in the month of November, down from the previous month high of over 9,000 units. Exports have risen to 13,530 units as compared to the 12,302 units dispatched in the October 2018. Compared to the 7,777 units sold in November 2017, the sales have taken a hit as well.
Nevertheless, Ford is bullish on its 2018 prospects and expects to outdo its annual performance of 2017. Betting big on their all-new product, the Ford Freestyle, and the evergreen Ford EcoSport, Ford also looks forward to the success of the recently facelifted Ford Aspire. Also, Ford has added a new dealership in Tamil Nadu taking the total count of touchpoints to 509 across the country.
