Ford's genuine parts availability expanded to Gujarat, Daman, Diu and Silvassa

Ford has appointed a new exclusive distributor in Ahmedabad, who will retail Ford Genuine service parts to retailers and independent repair shops. Gujarat, Daman, Diu and Silvassa will see genuine Ford parts available at a standard rate with this expanded reach of the company's authorised service part distributor network.

Khodiyar Ford Parts is the manufacturer's new exclusive distributor and is located at Gandhinagar, Bavala Cross Road near Ujala Circle Sarkhej, Ahmedabad. This dealer will be the 7th exclusive distributor for the brand in India.

N Prabhu, Vice President, Customer Service Operations, Ford India said, "Much like in a family, we are focused on ensuring quality, reliability, and convenience of our customers and are aggressively expanding our retail distribution network. With the launch of our retail distribution in the region, we are ensuring that customers have access to fairly-priced, high-quality parts whether they are visiting a Ford dealership or an independent repair shop."

The carmaker’s current network of retail distributors cover Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Goa. In the next phase, Ford plans to extend the open market distribution of Ford Genuine parts to West Bengal, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Punjab.

The main intention behind Ford's retail distribution of genuine parts is to make its service parts more easily available and at competitive prices beyond the authorised service centres. This allows multi-brand workshops and individual mechanics to source components easily and not sell them at exorbitant prices. It is good to see such initiatives are being taken to make the spares for Ford cars easily available.
