Ford is making a performance oriented electric SUV and it will take cues from the iconic Mustang. A teaser sketch is out and it reveals the rear of the SUV. From the image, the Mustang’s three bar tail-lights can be seen along with the flat rear and the muscular haunches. A highly camouflaged test car has been spotted and the design looks boxier compared to the new age sleek SUVs.
Powering the SUV will be an all-electric motor which is part of Ford’s plan to launch 16 electric cars by the end of 2022. As for the platform, it is likely to be the new modular electric platform the automaker confirmed recently. Inspired by an iconic sportscar, fully electric and promising plenty of performance, this SUV seems to be an interesting mix. Keep watching this space for more!
