Ford has showcased the facelifted Endeavour at the 2014 Auto Expo. The facelifted car now gets a face similar to that of the Figo thanks to the Octogonal air intake but remains unique thanks to the two piece slat grille.
The new car also gets some revised body graphics but this is believed to be a temporary measure as Ford will launch an all-new SUV for the year 2015. The side profile and rear end remain the same as before.
The story continues on the interiors too and this means the Endeavour gets a two-tone combination of beige and light black with wood inserts. Standard features on the top end variant include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, electrically adjustable OVRMs, two-din touchscreen infotainment system and separate zone air-conditioning.
On the engine front, the facelifted Endeavour will continue with the 2.5-litre diesel for the RWD five-speed manual variant while the RWD/AWD come with a 3.0-litre diesel and mated to a five-speed AT. It competes with the Ssangyong Rexton, Hyundai Santa Fe, Chevrolet Captiva in the D-segment SUV category. We expect that it will be priced marginally higher than the current car when launched a few months later.
