Ford has launched a top spec Titanium+ manual petrol variant for its EcoSport compact SUV and has priced it at Rs 10.47 lakhs (all-India ex-showroom). It’s priced Rs 97,000 more than the Titanium variant and is now the most expensive petrol model you can buy in the EcoSport range.
In this Titanium+ variant you get side and curtain airbags, rear-view camera, ISOFIX child seat mounting points, 17-inch wheels, flat folding rear seats, auto head lamps, paddle shifters and rain sensing wipers. The petrol engine powering this model is the 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol producing 123bhp/150Nm and mated to a five-speed manual. This is a new engine from the Dragon Family of engines that Ford debuted in India last year.
Commenting on the launch of the launch of this variant, Rahul Gautam, vice president marketing at Ford India, said, “Since new Ford EcoSport was introduced, our customers have been demanding a top-of-the-line Titanium+ petrol manual variant, offering enhanced safety with six airbags.” “In our commitment to meet customer demands, we are pleased to introduce this variant and offer a greater choice to our customers,” he added.
