- The exports stood at an impressive 12,606 vehicles last month.

Ford India registered a YoY growth of 31 per cent after selling 20,648 vehicles in the month of July 2018 compared to 15,740 vehicles in the same month last year. This includes a domestic sale of 8,042 vehicles while the exports stood at 12,606 vehicles.
The domestic wholesales last month increased to 8,042 vehicles compared to 7,777 units in the same period of 2017. The exports grew to 12,606 vehicles compared to 7,963 units in August last year.
Meanwhile, Ford employees and dealership teams came together in support of Kerala and contributed close to Rs. 1.6 Crore for relief and rehabilitation efforts. Anurag Mehrotra, president and managing director, said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Kerala, who are demonstrating great resilience in the face of a grave calamity faced. As an industry, it was heartening to witness everyone come up to support the state in the time of crisis.”
The American carmaker has also announced a slew of services to extend its help towards the flood-stricken Kerala. These services include – increase in Road Side Assistance (RSA) fleet and free towing of impacted vehicles, doubled workforce and work shift, appointed surveyors across dealerships for immediate insurance claim approval, free engine oil replacement, underbody anti-rust treatment and interior jobs at half the cost. Ford will also bear 50 per cent of the depreciation cost on parts claimed under insurance.
The Blue Oval has also set up a new dealership in Bihar with the inauguration of Advik Ford facilities in Patna. The new dealership is spread across 18,000 square feet and is fully equipped with 16 service bays.
