Ford India has revealed that its combined domestic wholesales and export sales in January grew to 12,834 vehicles, up from 9,061 vehicles in the corresponding month last year.
Taking January in account, domestic wholesales grew to 7,045 vehicles against 6,647 units in the same month last year, while exports more than doubled to 5,789 from 2,414 units in January 2015. “We ushered in the new year by taking rapid strides in our commitment to India and our consumers. Ford is continuing to introduce the most relevant and dynamic products to delight customers like the all-new Ford Endeavour and Ford Mustang,” said Anurag Mehrotra, executive director of Marketing, Sales and Service, at Ford India.
“Not just freshest and most capable products, 2016 also marks the beginning of our journey to redefine customer expectations. In 2016, Ford owners will benefit from numerous initiatives we have undertaken to enhance affordability and accessibility of our products and services, delivered to them with complete transparency. We are confident that these initiatives will help extend the joy of owning a Ford to hundreds and thousands of new Indian customers,” Mehrotra added.
