The Ford Endeavour is now costlier by up to Rs 1.62 lakh if you opt for the top-of-the-line variant. The prices of all variants of the SUV have been increased ever since its launch.
The manual variant of the 2.2-litre 4X2 Trend trim was launched at Rs 23,63,999 and is now priced at Rs 25,00,800. This amounts to a hike of Rs 1,36,801. The other trend variants get a price increase of Rs 1,11,800 as the 3.2-litre 4X4 AT, 2.2-litre 4X2 AT and 2.2-litre 4X4 MT are priced at Rs 27,65,800, Rs 25,50,800 and Rs 26,60,800 respectively. The 2.2-litre 4x2 AT Titanium is costlier by Rs 1,36,800 at Rs 27,50,800. The top-end 3.2-litre 4X4 AT Titanium model is now the most expensive at Rs 29,76,800, as its price ihas been hiked by Rs 1,61,800.
Ford had launched the Endeavour at the start of this year. It is offered with two engine options that includes a 2.2-litre diesel and a 3.2-litre mill. The former churns out 158bhp of power and 385Nm of torque, while the latter produces 197bhp of power and 470Nm of torque. The smaller engine comes mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic, whereas the bigger 3.2-litre mill is offered only as an automatic variant.
This price hike comes hot on the heels of Ford slashing the prices of the Figo hatchback and the Figo Aspire sedan. The carmaker has recently decreased the prices of both the vehicles.
