The Ford Freestyle compact crossover has been spotted at a dealership ahead of its official debut within the next few months. It’s the third SUV style vehicle that will join the American automaker’s line up and will be offered with petrol and diesel power.
The car that has been spotted is a top spec Titanium petrol model and painted in silver. The diesel model is expected to look exactly the same but with the TDCi badging at the rear. There are pictures of the interiors too which show the SYNC3 infotainment system, climate control system and black and beige interiors.
This car will debut the new 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol motor which produces 94bhp/120Nm. A five-speed manual is expected to be standard with an AT option expected to come in later. The diesel is of course expected to be the 1.5-litre unit.
The freestyle also brings in the updated design language for Ford’s range of small cars. This design philosophy will make its way to the Figo hatchback as well as the Aspire.
