Ahead of the official launch of the new and updated Ford Figo on 15 March, details of the variant and features of the hatchback were leaked online. The Figo facelift will be available in seven variants across three trim levels – Ambiente, Titanium and a new Titanium Blu. This includes three petrol-manual, three diesel-manual and one petrol-automatic variant.
The petrol engine in the new Figo is the 1.2-litre petrol from the Dragon family. It produces 95bhp and 120Nm in the Aspire and is expected to have same power output in the hatchback. The diesel, meanwhile, is the same old 1.5-litre unit which produces 99bhp and 215Nm. Both the engines are available with a five-speed manual transmission as standard. On the other hand, the automatic transmission is only available with the bigger 1.5-litre petrol motor. This is the same powertrain unit as the one seen in the EcoSport.
