- To borrow cosmetic and feature elements from the 2018 Ford Aspire
- Likely to be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine options
- Likely to offer a CNG option at the time of launch
Back in October, Ford had introduced the 2018 Aspire in India. This time around, the upcoming Figo facelift has been spotted on test in the country. It is believed that the new Figo hatchback will borrow the cosmetic and feature upgrades from the recently updated compact sedan, the Aspire. Mechanically, it is expected to be powered by the existing 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. Reports indicate that the vehicle might also offer a CNG variant at the time of launch.
Based on what can be seen, the new Figo is expected to get revised headlamps, black alloy wheels and redesigned fog lamps. The hatchback is further expected to be offered with similar grille and bumpers with black inserts from the Aspire. As for the interior, the vehicle is expected to get a new dashboard and identical centre console from the Aspire. More details about the vehicle will be known in the days to come.
