Ford dealers in Punjab, Chennai and Cochin celebrated significant milestones with regards to the sales of the Ford Figo. The senior Ford India executives went on-site to hand deliver the keys to proud new owners of Ford Figo.
N Raja, vice president of Sales, Ford India helped Bhagat Ford Punjab celebrate the sale of their 1500th Figo, while both Michael Boneham, President and Managing Director of Ford India, helped MPL Ford in Chennai and Nigel Wark, Executive Director of Marketing Sales and Service, Ford India, helped Kairali Ford in Cochin each rejoice the sale of their 1000th Figo.
Ford's new compact car boasts a substantial package of features, a great on-road presence and outstanding driving characteristics. At the MPL Ford handover in Chennai, Michael Boneham, said, ''We are happy to see the Figo sustain its momentum and continue to attract a new set of proud Ford owners. The Customer response to the Figo has been simply outstanding. Ford is committed to provide excellent support to the dealer network to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.''
As part of Ford's commitment to customers after the sale, the company is focused on continuing to improve its already competitive cost of ownership. Figo is placed among the leaders in scheduled service over a 5 year/100,000 kilometre period. Various extended packages are now being offered for Total Maintenance Plan (TMP) and Scheduled Service Plan (SSP) that allows customers to purchase extended service plans for regular maintenance items for up to 100,000 kilometres or five years, at a reduced rates.
The research done by Ford which they did claim earlier seems to have paid off. The Figo is indeed attracting attention and though the name of the car has nothing to do with the Portugal Football captain, it sure has raked in its share of popularity.
