- Figo CNG spied testing for first timeÂ
- To be based on facelift model
- To get the new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder dragon petrol engine Â
Â
Ford has been globally popular for its diesel and petrol powered engine options. This time around for the very first time, a CNG variant of the Figo has been spotted testing in India. There has been no official word from Ford on plans to introduce a CNG variant and going by the test mule images, the launch is expected to be sometime soon.
Ford has been planning on introducing the Figo facelift model in the country and going by the test mule images, the CNG variant is likely to be introduced in the upgraded model. The car features a new dual-tone rear bumper along with a CNG sticker on the rear windshield.Â
It is believed that that the Figo facelift might be offered with the new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Dragon series petrol engine that generates 95bhp of power with 115Nm of torque. However, the power output figure in the CNG variant is likely to differ and be slightly lower. The diesel version will continue to be powered by a 1.5-litre engine that generates 99bhp of power and 215Nm of torque.
