This is the third month on a trot that Ford has managed to sell over 9,000 units, making it one of the best quarters for the car maker over the past year. The success of the EcoSport and the growing demand for the top-spec petrol trim ensured the launch of the 1.5-litre Titanium Plus petrol EcoSport at Rs 10.47 lakhs, ex-showroom India.
Ford has also announced its partnership with Mahindra to co-develop compact and sub-compact SUVs specifically for the Indian car market along with co-development of EVs. Ford will also launch their new product, the compact utility vehicle, the Freestyle, within the next month or so to consolidate on their successful run in the previous quarter.
