Ford has added a new feather on its cap with the delivery of one-millionth vehicle to a Delhi based customer. The recently introduced Ford Freestyle is the one millionth vehicle to be delivered in the country. The American car manufacturer has invested over US$ 2 billion in the country since it first started building cars in India in 1998.
Ford currently has 465 sales and service outlets in India and they are spread across 267 cities. The company has also made spare parts available at 3,500 touchpoints, which include 2,000 independent repair shops. The current product lineup includes the Figo, Aspire, Freestyle, EcoSport, Endeavour and the Mustang.
