Ford Classic Titanium launched for Rs 6.86 lakh

After rebadging the previous generation Fiesta as the Ford Classic, the American car maker has now launched the top-of-the-line Titanium variants of the B-segment sedan. The petrol variant of the Ford Classic Titanium is priced at Rs 6.86 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), while the diesel version is available for Rs 7.82 lakh. 

Along with the price cut, Ford has also loaded these Titanium versions with premium features that are missing from this segment. The Classic Titanium gets a stereo system with Bluetooth connectivity along with speed sensing volume controls, which adjust volume as the vehicle changes speed. On the outside, the Classic gets new alloy-wheels, body-coloured ORVMs and new black front grille. The beige interiors give the Classic premium look, while the drive-away locks make passenger cabin safer.

Nothing has changed under the hood and the Classic is powered by the reliable Ford 1.6-litre Duratec petrol and 1.4-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engines. The company claims that the petrol version has an economy of 21.27kpl, while the diesel returns astounding 32.38kpl (Official ARAI figures: petrol - 11.7kpl, diesel 17.1kpl). The Ford Classic is now available in six colours - Paprika Red, Panther Black, Diamond White, Chill Metallic, Moon Dust Silver and Sea Grey, along with comprehensive warranty for 2 years / 1,00,000km.
