Ford has launched the Aspire Blu edition in India at Rs 7.51 lakh for the petrol and Rs 8.31 lakh for the diesel version. This new edition is similar to the Ford Figo facelift's top-spec Titanium Blu variant that was recently launched.
The Ford Aspire Blu is based on the Titanium trim of the Aspire. However, this special edition comes with some additional cosmetic changes to differentiate it from the regular compact sedan. Up front is a black grille and fog lamps with blue surrounds. The car a blalso sportsack roof and rides on black coloured 15-inch alloy wheels. This Blu edition further gets black and blue decals complementing the three body colour options - white, moondust silver and smoke.
There are some changes inside the cabin too. For example, the Aspire Blu's black interior gets blue accents to go with the black and blue theme. Then, there's a leather-wrapped steering wheel along with the other standard features from the Aspire Titanium trim. These include a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, a rear-view camera and even an engine start-stop button. On the safety front, dual airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors are offered as standard features.
Ford is offering this Aspire Blu Edition in both petrol and diesel engine options like the other variants. The 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine produces 95bhp of power and 120Nm of torque, while the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel mill churns out 99bhp and 215Nm of torque. The Blu edition is not offered in an automatic trim and only comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Cars have already reached dealerships and dealers will soon begin deliveries of the same.
