Ford appoints retail parts distributors for Karnataka and Kerala

Ford India has appointed two new retail parts distributors in South India to strengthen its service network and availability of spares. VST Ford Spares and Focus Auto Agencies have commenced operations in Karnataka and Kerala respectively.

Retail distribution of the spare parts is an important aspect of aftersales service. There are manufacturers that avoid selling parts and in turn force customers to the authorised service centre. The availability of parts across the counter, allows the customers to do repairs at the place of their choice. Ford not only retails the spares, but also offers child parts which are more affordable. 

Ford will continue to expand the retail distribution of parts in stages and next phase will include Maharashtra and East of India. “Be it a multi-brand workshop or your trusted mechanic, Ford customers in Karnataka and Kerala will now be able to experience the safety and quality of Ford Genuine parts even outside of our trusted dealership network,” said Anurag Mehrotra, executive director, sales, service and marketing, Ford India. “With continued expansion of our retail distribution network, we are ensuring quality, reliability and convenience for our consumers so that they get a world-class ownership experience.”
