Ford India has appointed Vinay Piprasaina as the new executive director for marketing and sales. To be based out the American car maker’s Gurgaon office, he will report to Michael Boneham, president and managing director of Ford India.
A veteran Ford employee, Vinay joined the company in 1996 as general manager of sales where he played a key role in establishing the Ford dealer network across the country. Prior to his new appointment, he was the vice president of marketing and sales Ford Philippines. His other assignments include director, planning, distribution and fleet, Ford Asia Pacific and Africa.
Speaking on Vinay’s appointment, Michael Boneham said “We are very pleased to welcome Vinay back to Ford India. His extensive marketing experience along with the rich regional perspective that he has gained from his various positions across markets in the Asia Pacific and Africa region will surely help us go further with our brand and business in India.” Vinay’s duties will include heading up the marketing, sales and customer service operations division of the company.
