Emerson Fittipaldi, the renowned F1diver, is developing a car along with the world famous Italian car designer, Pininfarina, and motorsport specialist HWA. Christened as Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina, the car has been teased in a single picture ahead of its world premiere at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show.
The two-time F1 and Indi 500 Champion Fittipaldi, using all his track expertise, will develop the car under his Fittipaldi Motors banner. Mahindra-owned Pininfarina will use its magic to make the car look as exotic as a supercar can. And HWA will lend its motorsport expertise to the EF7 Vision supercar. HWA is founded by the same man behind AMG and is responsible for managing the Mercedes-AMG team in the DTM. With such adept and eminent names backing the car, there are huge expectations from the EF7 Vision Gran Turismo supercar.
In the teaser, we could only see the massive carbon-fibre rear wing, curvaceous rear fenders and sleek rear tail lights of the car. By the looks of it, the car is expected to be similar to the Aston Martin Vulcan, both in appearance and performance.
There are no details yet of what will be powering the EF7 Vision but is expected to be available in limited numbers. For the rest of us, it will be available to drive virtually in the Gran Turismo video game franchise on the Sony PlayStation.
