Close on the heels of Audi’s facelifted A4 Avant (wagon body-style) being spotted, it is now the facelifted A4 sedan’s turn as our spy photographers have just sent in these exclusive shots.
Although the extensive camouflage does a great job in concealing the new bits, reports suggest that the updates for the A4 include new body-panels such as doors, bumpers and fenders. Interestingly, you’ll also notice the new internals for the headlamps and the re-shaped air-dams on either ends of the front bumper.
Furthermore, the changes to the lower rear bumper section are quite obvious. The reflectors are now more upfront rather than the current ‘wrap-around-the-edges’ design, and the exhaust outlets are wider and neatly packaged where they exit from the bumper.
As of now, we have no pictures to prove what upgrades find their way into the A4’s cabin. Nevertheless, considering the significant tweaks made to the exteriors, we have reason to believe that Audi may just-as-well throw in an upgraded infotainment software along with newer driver-assistance features to keep the facelifted A4 competitive.
Audi may introduce the updated A4 in the Indian market in the latter half of 2019, so stay tuned for the details.
